Dr. Ioannis Papathanasiou – Greece

Bio

Ioannis Papathanasiou is a graduate of the School of Dentistry of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and of the three-year postgraduate program of Clinical Specialization in Prosthodontics (MSc Prosthodontics) of the School of Dentistry of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). For his postgraduate studies he was awarded a scholarship by the State Scholarship Foundation (IKY). In 2024 he was awarded a PhD  degree by NKUA School of Dentistry. He has also completed his postgraduate training in Implantology at the New York University (NYU) College of Dentistry Linhart Continuing Dental Education Program (2018) and is a continuous instructor in postgraduate seminars in Implantology and Prosthodontics as well as in the clinical training of undergraduate students. He is the author of several publications in international journals on Prosthodontics, Implantology and Biomaterials, while for the last four years he has maintained a private practice in Agia Paraskevi, Attica, with an exclusive clinical practice in Prosthodontics and Implantology. He is an elected member of the board of directors of the Greek Prosthodontic Society and a recognised member of the European Prosthodontic Association.
