Dr. Georgios Tsompanides – Greece

Bio

Georgios Tsompanides was born in 1973 and graduated from the School of Dentistry, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Hellenic Military Academy of Combat Support Officers in Thessaloniki, Greece in 1997.

He  completed a 6 months post graduate  training  in oral  surgery at  the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery  Clinic of the  401  General Military Hospital of Athens in 1998.

In 2010, he successfully completed with excellence the MSc Degree of Specialization in Endodontics (Dept. of Endodontology, School of Dentistry, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece). His research and master’s thesis was   on “The role of CBCT on the differential diagnosis of diagnostic dilemmas in Endodontics and on the treatment strategies chosen”

He is a Colonel on active duty of the Medical Corps, Hellenic Army and the Head of the Department of Endodontics at the 424 General Military Hospital since 2010. He also owns a private practice limited to Endodontics in Thessaloniki, Greece.

He is elected:

• Certified Member of the European Society of Endodontology
• Specialist Member of the American Association of Endodontists
• Member of the Hellenic Association of Endodontists
• Member of the Hellenic Society of  Endodontology

He is an author and co-author in several scientific publications, a presenter of more than 80 oral and poster presentations in prestigious international and Hellenic conferences and a trainer in clinical courses and workshops.
